Since 1997, when Intel established a major facility in Costa Rica, the High Tech manufacturing industry in Costa Rica has grown significantly with many "international electronics manufacturing firms favoring Costa Rica because of its overall operating costs, skilled labor, political and economic stability, and its proximity to the United States and Latin American markets."

Over the past 25+ years, the High Tech industry in Costa Rica has grown to include over 200 manufacturers, some of which are local Costa Rica manufacturers, however the vast majority are international companies who have chosen to manufacture their products in Costa Rica. Primary market sectors include: Aerospace Manufacturing, Medical Device Manufacturing, and Pharmaceutical Products manufacturing. Along with the growth in High Tech manufacturing, there is a growing need for Test Equipment, and Pan-Am Tech was established to help address this need. We are bringing the latest Environmental Test and Manufacturing Test products to industry in Costa Rica.
